Seattle White River Amphitheatre

Auburn, WA

Site: 16.5 acres

The White River Amphitheatre is a world-class, cutting edge facility for the performing arts located 25 miles southeast of Seattle on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation. The main amphitheatre area of the entertainment complex encompasses 16.5 acres, with adjacent surface parking for approximately 7,000 cars. The core of the facility consists of an amphitheatre bowl with a total capacity of 23,000 patrons, wherein 10,000 seats are fixed and covered by a permanent roof. Surrounding the internal structure of the amphitheatre are large plazas arranged in a circular pattern, featuring full concession facilities, VIP areas, restrooms, and open lawn picnicking spaces. With an eye towards the needs of performers as well as patrons, a special backstage support area was created beneath the facility and is screened from view of the public plaza.
