UC Berkeley Wireless Research Center

Berkeley, CA

Site: 11,000 sf     No. Stories: 2 stories

Located off Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley, the U.C. Berkeley Wireless Research Center is a cutting edge, wireless technology research and design laboratory. As an off-campus building, this 11,000 sf tenant improvement project is a unique venture for U.C. Berkeley, given that the majority of their campus buildings are confined to one locale. This lab creates new communication technology products for a wireless and paperless environment, and the facility includes a laboratory, student workstations, resident and visiting professor offices, administrative offices, conference rooms, research library, kitchen, and an open forum space that serves as a flexible and informal meeting area for collaboration.
