Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre

Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre is an 18,500 capacity venue located on Forty Mile Road 10 miles south of Marysville, serving the greater Sacramento Valley and all of Northern California.

The amphitheatre sits in the 14-acre park-like plaza grounds and the huge performance stage is framed by 30-foot-high redwoods while more than 200 additional trees were planted to provide both shade and beauty. The $25 million facility was built by veteran concert promoter Bill Graham and features top musical performing artists.

The project encompasses 90 acres with over 7,000 parking spaces, generous pedestrian circulation, and plaza areas, an entry fountain, 12 individual building structures (totaling over 30,000 square feet) and an 8,600-square foot stage platform that is over 57 feet tall and capable of supporting a 60,000 pound distributed load.

Over 400,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to create the concert bowl and a 48-foot-high grassy berm for the festival lawn. Both lawn seating and the 8,000 permanent seats of the amphitheatre provide concertgoers with excellent sightlines to the stage.
