The Martin

The Martin is a mixed-use residential and retail project that is centrally located in Downtown Sunnyvale and within a 5-minute walk to the Sunnyvale Caltrain station. It is the third and tallest residential phase of Cityline, a 36-acre mixed-use development comprised of office, retail, residential, movie theater and supermarket projects. Cityline Sunnyvale is a major transit-oriented development which revitalizes the Downtown into an active pedestrian-oriented destination where residents and visitors can live, work and play.
 

The project is comprised of two 12-story buildings with 28,000 gsf of ground level restaurant and retail uses which are oriented around an updated one-acre Redwood Square open space plaza which adds vibrancy and outdoor dining options for downtown Sunnyvale’s residents and visitors. The project also extends historic Murphy Avenue through the site which adds to Cityline’s other existing pedestrian-oriented retail uses. Above the ground level are 479 premium apartments of which 53 are affordable. The residential parking is in two subgrade levels under the buildings providing 470 spaces. The project design includes a monumental gateway element between the two residential buildings that provides direct pedestrian connectivity between the Caltrain Station and Redwood Square Plaza.

The Martin’s on-site amenities include a property management office, sun deck with pool and spa, club room, two state-of-the-art fitness clubs, a sky lounge on the 11th floor with panoramic views, a 3,000-square-foot rooftop deck, paw spa, resident storage lockers and bike storage. An innovative co-working space for residents is also off the main lobby. The residential units are all-electric, high-efficiency homes with stainless steel appliances, contemporary cabinets with quartz countertops, ceramic tile bathtubs and showers, in-unit washers and dryers, and central air-conditioning. Additionally, some of the units have terrace patios or cantilever balconies for outdoor living.
