Zhuhai Hongwan Tax-Free Zone Conceptual Plan

In order to create the conceptual spatial development plan of Zhuhai city, the strategic position, industrial function, structures, and land use of the Hongwan Bonded Area were deeply studied and interpreted. The role, future development, and urban form and function of the areas in the city, and various land functions in proportion to the Area were clarified. The waterfront urban space was also shaped. Development of international trade, exhibitions, trade and logistics in the changing world were integrated using construction of the Bonded Area as guidance. One of the project's main goals was to make full use of the Hongwan Free Trade Zone near Macau and utilize its transportation hub advantages. This plan determined the development and construction strategies, steps, and models to ensure the competitiveness of the project and the guiding role of the market.
