The Hayes (55 Page Street)

Located in the popular Hayes Valley neighborhood, 55 Page Street is a dynamic 8-story building with 128 residential units consisting of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and studios. Accessible to a wide variety of residents, 112 units are market rate while 16 are below market rate. The building utilizes contemporary detailing and materials to acknowledge a neighborhood with many historic structures. Oversized bay window elements are clad in unique champagne colored aluminum panels and a large central terrace along Rose Alley provides generous private areas for the adjoining residences. The Page Street and Rose Alley frontages incorporate the façade of the neighboring historic stable-house building into the new urban infill composition. The ground floor accommodates the residential lobby, retail space, restaurant, and parking. Atop the building, there is a large rooftop deck for communal open space with views in all directions for use by residents.
