2910 Seventh Street

2910 Seventh Street, an office building within Wareham Development’s Aquatic Park Center campus in West Berkeley, is currently being modernized for its existing tenant Pivot Bio, an agricultural biotechnology firm pioneering game-changing advances in sustainable agriculture. Heller Manus is designing a new 302 square-foot storefront addition to the existing two-story office building and renovating the entry plaza and tree well. The original 45,369 square-foot structure, constructed in 1985, has pre-cast concrete exterior cladding with period ribbon windows and had a dark entry inset from the façade.

The new entry protrudes from the façade with a two-story aluminum-framed storefront with high-performance insulated glazing. There are new ADA accessible entry doors within a metal-clad entry portal and roof. The renovated concrete entry plaza includes a new concrete seat wall around the planter. Updated accessible parking stalls have a new accessible ramp to the plaza as well as new public bike racks adjacent to the entry.
