HM designed the new global headquarters building for Fortinet, a multinational cybersecurity products company. This is a new four-story, 172,740 SF office building, consisting of two mirrored office wings that are joined by a large central entry atrium. The elevator core and a monumental glass stairway connecting all the floors are located right off of this atrium to provide vertical circulation.  Additionally, each wing will have a smaller atrium in the center of the floor plate.  The building will contain general and administrative office functions such as accounting, finance, legal, marketing, and sales. The ground level will contain an executive briefing center and a training area. The executive briefing center may also contain a demonstration lab that is functional but also viewable by visitors and customers. Employee amenities include a cafeteria space, fitness center, yoga room, bicycle showers, and lockers.

A monumental 3-story entry portal and cornice on the exterior will act as a symbolic ‘gateway’ into the building and campus. Generously landscaped surface parking will incorporate drop-off areas, accessible parking, and electric vehicle charging stations.
