Scale: The strategic planning area is 80.3 square kilometers, and the urban design area of ​​the core area is 10 square kilometers.

In order to grasp the new trend of global scientific and technological innovation and seize the new opportunities of domestic and international “dual circulation”, Xiakewan Science City will integrate and utilize Jiangyin at a higher level, with more dimensions and with a wider perspective. It will utilize the advantageous resources of Jiangyin,  Wuxi and even the country’s advantageous resources, optimize the quality of the ecological environment, gather high-end elements, highlight regional cultural characteristics, strengthen infrastructure support, build a domestic first-class innovation platform for manufacturing, education and research, attract innovative talents from all walks of life, and deploy major scientific and technological innovation infrastructure. Xiakewan will become a “future technology city, green ecological city, smart interconnected city, and youth fashion city”.
